Courage: "The ability to do something that frightens one"

Two years ago I had a situation in which frightened me. That was to go with my cousin up a mountain and go downhill mountain biking. I didn't want to tell my cousin but, I had never went mountain biking before, and i heard that many people went through serious injuries from downhill mountain biking. So in that moment i had two choices: one was to go through the courageous path and go mountain biking, whereas the other choice was to stay home and lay on my couch and watch the latest episode of Breaking Bad. So I decided to "Yolo" it ( how some people would refer to it) and go for a ride. Sure i could crash, face first into a tree, but who cares? Later that day, i regretted nothing, and i knew that i will do this over and over and over again.
